Very good app, just a couple of suggestions
I use this app every single day, and it is honestly very good. I would just like to give a couple of suggestions and report a bug. The suggestions are: the ability to like a video from landscape mode, I personally love to add to watch later and then watch all my vids one after the other, but to give a like I have to go to portrait mode, I'd like to have that ease of liking while in landscape. The other suggestion is that I would like to add to watch later directly from my notifications! I hope you take these in consideration. As for the bug, I don't know if it's just my iPhone 6s plus, but sometimes when I'm watching in landscape mode and I tap the screen to show the controls, the app freezes my phone. I can't tap anything, I can't press the home button, instead I have to press the lock button multiple times to lock the phone and then unlock it to be able to fix the issue. Please look into this, it doesn't happen all the time and the app doesn't crash, but it annoys me quite a bit..

What’s Going On?
I don’t know if my phone hasn’t updated it until now or if this is just now happening but when I click to listen to my music playlist it shows the videos in the order they’re usually in when not on shuffle like it used to. But when I click the shuffle button to start it shows the order that it’s shuffled so that I know what the next song will be. There’s no problem with that but the irritating part is that when I find the song I want to listen to and turn the shuffle off, it doesn’t revert back to playing in order like it used to. It continues to play that song and then play the next song on the shuffle list, not on the next song that would normally play if it wasn’t on shuffle.
Now, I don’t mind listening to my music on shuffle, that’s the whole point of shuffle, but I have a rather large playlist for songs and sometimes I’m looking for a specific group of songs that are next to each other in the playlist. Because of my having a large playlist, I used the shuffle feature to find the songs I want and then turn the shuffle off to listen in the normal order rather than scrolling through hundreds of songs to find the right ones. The feature of it reverting back after clicking to turn the shuffle off is helpful when I’m looking for specific songs but it’s hard to do that now that shuffle no longer does that.
Good, but ISSUES
Descent, well made app. Has a lot of features that make it better than the website, but also has a lot of features that make it WORSE. 1: the bar of which you rewind/fast forward videos is way too small. It usually takes me at least five tries before I can scroll with it. 2: I don’t think ANY of my community has ever had a reason to like the continuous video when you exit the screen you’re on. It’s rather inconvenient, and defeats the purpose of closing the page. 3: half the time, when loading a page from a different supporter (Mail, Safari, etc) it doesn’t load properly. 5 times out of 10, the page fails to load, making me have to go to the website to try again, defeating the purpose of the app. 4: (I know this is a ME problem, but I wanna call it out anyway) I hate ads. And the way I’d deal with them was by refreshing the page until it worked, NOW I CANT. And I don’t like dat. No I don’t. However, the app has quite a few positive things as well, like the fact that you can upload easier, modify your channel, read more comments at once, browse crap, look at crap, subscribe to crap, comment on crap, and literal crap. With that said, I honestly think the app could completely overtake the website if it fixed these specific problems (that I can name).

How to Download YouTube Videos
The exact steps required to download videos depend on which tool you're using. Different tools have different settings and steps. These instructions roughly apply to most tools to download videos.

Once you have the tool installed and opened, go to YouTube (either in the tool or in your web browser) and find the video you want to download. You'll probably need to copy and paste the URL of the video into the download tool.

When you're saving a video, choose the MP4 video format. Some tools won't give you this choice, but instead just offer the option create a video for iPhone/iPod. That works, too.
When the video is done downloading, it will either be saved to your computer or saved in the app on your iPhone. If you downloaded the video on an iPhone, skip to step 6. If you saved the video on your computer, drag the video into iTunes to add it to your iTunes library.
With the video now saved in iTunes, sync your iPhone with your computer. In the Movies tab of the iTunes syncing screen, check the box next to the video you just downloaded from YouTube. Click the Sync button in the bottom right corner of the screen.

With that, the YouTube video has been downloaded to your device just like any other video—and you can watch it whenever, and wherever, you want. You can view it in the pre-installed Videos app.
If you saved the video using an app, the video may be saved directly in the app you used to download it. If so, you should be able to watch it there.
If it's not saved in the app, check the pre-installed TV (or, on older versions of the iOS, Videos) app. In it, you'll see all the videos on your device, including the one you just added. Tap it to watch the video.
But Should You Download YouTube Videos?
You can save YouTube videos, but does that mean you should? I'm definitely not an ethicist, but it seems to me that in many cases you probably shouldn't.
When people or companies post videos to YouTube, they want to share their content, but they may also want to make money. Many video creators get a share of the ad revenue generated by their videos. Some people, in fact, make videos as their full-time jobs and depend on ad revenue to live. When you save videos offline, those ads can't play and the creators of the video can't earn money.
Besides the video creators, YouTube itself makes money from the ads. It's a little harder to be sympathetic to a huge company, but it has employees and expenses and both are paid, at least in part, with ad revenue.
I'm not necessarily saying you shouldn't save videos, but if you do, at least make sure you understand the consequences your actions have for other people.
Dealing YouTube Videos on With Older iPods
Some older iPods can play video, but none of them can connect to the Internet or run iOS apps. If you want to watch video on those models, you'll need to use a web-based tool or desktop software to download YouTube videos to your computer and then sync them to your iPod, as described in step 5 above.
