My phone will not switch on. I have tried to press the volume up + power + home key and also volume down + power + home key. My phone only goes to a blue page which says 'warning.. A customised os can corrupt your phone etc...' and 'press up to download' or 'down key to cancel and restart phone'. When I press down key my phone does not restart, just turns off and will not power back up. If I press the volume up key it will turn to a page saying downloading and will stay stuck on this page for hours. I have tried a number of combinations but nothing has worked. I cannot plug into a computer or go into samsung as I am on vacation on an island. I also cannot pull the battery out as I have a s6 edge and if I do unscrew it will void my warranty. Can anyone please help?
Is this a good question?
The relationship between Galaxy S7 download mode and Galaxy S7 recovery mode is that you can flash custom recovery in Galaxy S7 download mode. Of course, you must have a computer software (e.g., Odin) to use download mode. Now, press Volume Up to load Galaxy S7 Download Mode. Then you can press the Power button for ten seconds in order to exit Download Mode. Every time your device gets stuck while you’re using.

How To Exit Download Mode S7
The Samsung Galaxy S7 is a fantastic phone with more power than most of us would ever need. However, not all apps play nicely with the phone and can occasionally cause problems. Android is also susceptible to malware, which is often only removable from safe mode. If you want to know how to boot the Galaxy S7 into safe mode, this post is for you!
Boot the Galaxy S7 into safe mode
To boot the Galaxy S7 into safe mode follow these simple steps.
1. Power off the phone.
2. Press and hold the power button until the Galaxy logo appears on screen.
3. Press and hold the volume down button and release the power button.
4. Hold volume down until the phone has fully booted.
If the phone has booted into safe mode you should see a ‘Safe Mode’ prompt in the bottom left corner of the screen. While in safe mode, no third-party apps will run but the main functions of the phone should work as normal. From here you can troubleshoot apps, uninstall them, track down malware, perform antivirus scans, or do whatever it is you want to do in relative safety.
To boot your Galaxy S7 out of safe mode:
1. Power off the handset by pressing and holding the power button.
2. Once fully powered off, press the power button again and let go once normal boot begins.
Your handset should now boot normally and you can test to see if the changes you made work or not.
